Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

The government has been clear on the need to stay at home so as much as we would love you to explore our county please don’t. Most of our attractions and venues are temporarily closed following government advice anyway. You should only leave the house for one of four reasons:

• Shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible.
• One form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household.
• Any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person.
• Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home

The Government has issued good advice. Sadly, not everyone has been following this and so firmer rules are now in place. It is simple - if people go within two metres of people they don't live with then they're helping to spread the virus and people will die. Now is the time to listen. Stay Home. Save Lives.

Just postpone visiting our attractions, beaches and parks until a later date when it is safe to travel again, but by all means take this time to plan your visit and list the places to go for when you can.

Anybody with concerns over their own health, or any questions about the Coronavirus, please use the NHS website. Regular updates from the UK Government can be found here.
