Greenwoods dates back to the 17thC and the imposing manor house, set in 40 acres of landscaped gardens is situated on the edge of the idyllic town of Stock, just south of Chelmsford.

The original house has been extended and the estate now incorporates 39 beautifully-appointed bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, cocktail bar, lounge and boardroom. The fully-equipped spa includes a state of the art gym, 20m pool, treatment rooms offering both holistic and health/beauty treatments, saunas, steam rooms, ice bar and relaxation room.

Each of the 39 bedrooms has been furnished to the highest standards to ensure that our guests can relax in absolute comfort. Fabrics have been sourced throughout Europe and the marble adorning each bathroom is Italy's finest/ each room is equipped with all the facilities the discerning traveller expects along with the latest in interactive television for those who can not resist keeping in contact with the outside world.

By Road:
A12 to Colchester. B1007 to Galleywood/Billericay. At roundabout go right. Straight over next roundabout. Rd leads to Stock. After approx 5 mins pass Crondon Park Golf Course. 2nd turn on right-Greenwoods Hotel.

By Public Transport:
Right out of station, left at mini-roundabout. Straight over next mini-roundabout & all traffic lights until roundabout. 2nd exit onto Stock Rd B1007. Enter Stock, continue through village, as leaving you will see Greenwoods Hotel Car Park.
