The beautiful hamlet of Battlesbridge is nestled on the banks of the River Crouch, close to Wickford and Rayleigh and the A130 leading to the A12, A127, A13 and the M25. Battlesbridge has its own rail station on the Crouch Valley Line linking with the Liverpool St. - Southend line. Battlesbridge is home to one of the largest Antiques Centres in the country, with over 70 dealers housed in five period buildings. There are also two country pubs serving good food and drink all day and evening. Battlesbridge is well suited for exploring Essex, the ´County of Hidden Treasures´ and its varied attractions. The Royal Horticultural Garden at Hyde Hall, Barleylands Farm Museum and Craft Centre, Marsh Farm and Watt Tyler Country Park are all in close proximity together with the seaside resort of Southend and the County town of Chelmsford. Single occupancy is £58 per room per night, breakfast included.

By Road:
From the A12 to the north, follow the A130 towards Southend leaving at the junction with the A132, The Rettendon Turnpike, and follow the signs into Battlesbridge. Maltings Road is 1/2 mile on the left by the Antique Shops.
From the A13 and A127 to the south follow the A130 torwards Chelmsford leaving at the junction with the A132, The Rettendon Turnpike, and proceed as above.

By Public Transport:
From Liverpool Street take the Southend or Shoeburyness service and change at Wickford for the Southminster train. Battlesbridge is the first stop. There are also direct trains through to Southminster. Get off at Battlesbridge. Maltings Road is 200 yards left of the Station approach road.
