Redwings Ada Cole Rescue Centre
Visit the Ada Cole Rescue Centre near Harlow to 'Rub Noses' with some lovely rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.
Around 50 friendly horses and ponies live at the site and they just love cuddles from visitors! While some are caring guardian homes through the Redwings Guardianship Scheme.
There are nine horses, ponies and donkeys available for adoption, including Misfit the cheeky Shetland and Katy the pretty pony, just for £12.50 a year.
There is an information centre and gift shop that also serves light refreshments including delicious cakes and coffee. It is open daily all year round and entry is free.
