Top Tips on How to Visit Safely

Summer is well underway and many of your favourite attractions and places are now open, and many more waiting to be discovered.

Before you visit, look at our top tips for enjoying your days out safely.

Remember to:

  1. Check online to see if you need to pre-book a timed entry slot
  2. Check the important facilities like toilets and car parks are open before you go
  3. Make sure you observe up-to-date government guidance and social distancing when your visit
  4. Take hand sanitiser with you and use it regularly
  5. Take face masks with you if you are intending to go into indoor areas or on public transport
  6. Take a bank card as many places are not accepting cash
  7. Where you can leave the car behind and visit nearby places by walking or cycling
  8. Be mindful of the environment, take a bag to keep your rubbish in, and take it home if bins are full or not provided
  9. Look out for the Industry ‘Good to Go’ logo to help book with confidence

When a business displays the ‘Good to Go’ logo, it means they have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. This means you can book your trip with confidence.

Have you heard about the government’s new scheme, which many of our members are signed up to? You can get 50% when you eat out at participating places between 3 and 31 August every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!
