Kelvedon

About

Kelvedon is a vilage in Essex situated near the town of Witham. The village - a fomer Roman settlment called Canonium - is located near the A12 and has excellent links to Colchester and London and beyond. With a high street full of independent shops, a national construction company and the popular Railway Inn, Kelevedon is an intriguing village to meander around. 

The Feering and Kelvedon Local History Museum was opened in 1975 and houses a number of items of archaeological interest, social and local history.
