About

Ingatestone Hall is a 16th Century manor house built by Sir William Petre, Secretary of State to four Tudor monarchs and provides a peaceful and relaxing setting for conferences and seminars of all kinds, particularly if you are looking for something less stark and soulless than the conventional conference centre.

Corporate away-days, seminars and presentations for clients and committee meetings are among the formats that can be accommodated.

There are five principal rooms inside the house and four main areas in the gardens and grounds that are available for your use, either individually or in combination.

Also available for school visits which normally commerce at 10:00. The morning is taken up with an introduction and guided tour of the house and grounds. The afternoon is for project work set by the group's teachers. Maximum of 60 pupils per day. Most suitable for pupils at Key Stage 2.
