About

Greenlands Barn is a heavily timbered, converted Essex barn suitable for two people. The barn is comfortably furnished with ground floor accommodation and private garden. It is ideal for touring or a restful break.

Situated in a quiet rural location, adjacent to farmland and an ancient wood it is convenient for Colchester, Lavenham and the coast and central for gardens, including RHS Hyde Hall, Markshall Estate and Beth Chatto. For walkers the Essex Way long distance footpath runs close by and there are pubs and restaurants for refreshments nearby.

Complimentary Welcome Pack. Linen and electricity included. As recognition of facilities and service, a prestigious Gold Award has been given. A ROSE Award has also been awarded by Visit England. Short breaks available.

Approached via A12 London/Harwich Road or A120 Colchester/Stansted Road.

Road Directions

Exit A12 for A120 Bishops Stortford, after 1.5 miles turn right for Great Tey, through the village. Take the fourth left for Earls Colne, after 1 mile take the first right signposted Lamberts Farm, continue along Lamberts Lane and Greenlands Barn is after Lamberts Farm.

Public Transport Directions

A direct rail line of about  50 minutes from Marks Tey to London. We are approximately 35 minutes drive from Stansted  Airport.
