Details

Bouncers Farm Gypsy Camp in its own private orchard has been lovingly created by Ann in exacting and authentic detail. Your two bow top wagons are genuine articles carefully restored, the bender tent is made using locally grown willow and poplar and constructed by local craftsmen using "ancient techniques" with the day bed is a traditional accompaniment and the Queenie stove (it's like a little wood burner) and all the cooking equipment are the real thing too.
Bouncers Farm is well placed for the use of green sustainable transport. Wickham Bishops is well supported by cycle routes, supported by Sustran. The organisation SUSTRAN is the UK's leading sustainable transport charity. SUSTRANS vision "is a world in which people can choose to travel in ways that benefit their health and the environment".

The campsite is accessed via the farm entrance at Bouncers Farm and car parking is situated just within the farm gates in a discreet position by the old packing sheds. Visitors' cars are left here and the remainder of the site is accessed by foot (using barrows for larger cases, shopping etc. The ground is level, laid to grass and slopes gently to the south. Disabled access to the site is available given the limitations of a farm site laid to grass.

Bouncers Farm Campsite is off grid glamping, no electricity, light is by candles, cooking is done in the true tradition over a campfire.
Bouncers Farm rears its own rare breed pork and lamb and free range eggs. They also grow seasonal produce.
