The Waltham Singers mark the 1918 Armistice.

The Waltham Singers are marking the 1918 Armistice with a concert at Chelmsford Cathedral on Saturday 24 November, 7.30pm.
The choir will be performing ‘Dona Nobis Pacem’ by Ralph Vaughan Williams, which was written in 1936 as a response to the Great War. Included is a talk by Simon Heffer, who has written a biography of Vaughan Williams. Paul Patterson’s ‘Te Deum’ will also be performed.
The choir, conducted by Andrew Fardell, will be joined by the St Paul’s Sinfonia and New Hall Fibre Optic Choir, with soloists Sarah Power (soprano) and Julien van Mellaerts (baritone).
