The Civic Centre venue is ideally located in the heart of the city centre, next to the bus station and a 3 minute walk from the train station. The Civic Centre has a suite of modern contemporary meeting rooms that should be able to fulfil your requirements, ranging from 200 people in the Council Chamber to 10 people in the Christy Room.
The rooms are equipped with high specifications AV equipment with built-in projectors, screens and a sound system with speakers situated in the ceiling to give a perfect distribution of sound.
The Council Chamber holds up to 200 people with an auditorium that holds 124 and a flexible floorspace in front where various layouts can be achieved.
Equipped with;

​​•Lectern with USB socket for reading presentations and data, as well as a DVD player and connections for a laptop or iPad
•Laptop & visualizer presentations (one at a time) can be run from two key desk positions
•Drop-down ceiling projectors and two 4.5 metre wide screens
•Smart podium – provides an interactive writing and collaboration tool

•Hands free MIC connected to a built-in sound system

•Visualizer – allows a presenter to place an object or a hard copy document on a platform, above which is mounted
