This year’s Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Christmas Gift and Food Fair looks set to be the best one yet!
To accommodate the growing success, this two day event has moved to a new venue, Chelmsford City Racecourse. The Fair will feature a wide variety of gifts and produce, handmade originals and foodie treats. Plus, for the younger members of the family there will be an opportunity to have their photograph taken in our pop up winter wonderland which would make an ideal gift for grandparents.
There will be live entertainment too. Over the weekend we have confirmed performances from the Braintree Male Voice Choir, Chelmsford Community Gospel Choir, The D’Ukes, the Chelmsford Silver Band and Abigail’s Performing Arts.
The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is dedicated to championing quality of life for everyone living with or affected by Cancer. We are here to support men and women with all types of cancer at all stages; newly diagnosed, throughout and post treatment, as well as their wider support network of family, friends and carers. We do this through the provision of support centres, complementary therapies, information and advice and supporting research and clinical trials.
Our services are delivered free of charge to support cancer patients’ emotional well-being alongside their medical treatment. We focus on offering these services in non-clinical environments to promote a safe, peaceful, relaxing setting across the Essex, London and Hertfordshire regions. The support we give does make a difference:
“I don’t know how I would have coped without you. During the darkness of my Cancer treatment, and beyond, you gave me touches of brightness. Rochelle House provided me (and my family) with relief from the worries and trauma of dealing with the roller coaster ride of cancer and its treatments. Rochelle House really is an oasis of tranquility amidst a sea of chaos.”
