Are you interested in archeology and history? New members are welcomed whatever their experience, newcomer to expert! The group is active in many fields including excavation, geophysical surveys, historical research, excavations and publishing. 2019 excavation is at Beeleigh Abbey.
A cycleway runs through the middle of the site providing largely traffic free links to Promenade Park, Blackwater Leisure Centre, West Maldon Recreation Group and Maldon Wick. There are also a number of buildings which are leased to various charities.
