Fling returns to the beautiful setting of Hylands Park on Saturday 6 July 2019.

Join like-minded souls for a heady mix of music, arts and fun engaging activities across an intimate village of bespoke areas and stages.

Created purely for adults, the Fling is like no other: a day where festivalgoers’ curiosity is encouraged and diversity in entertainment celebrated with a bespoke mix of music, comedy, cabaret, adult crafting, sideshows, street food and much more. On top of the return of all the Fling favourites like Silent Disco, Bollywood Bling Tent, and Space Hopper Racing, this year sees exciting new additions added to the offering including Live Art, Circus Raj, and Bearded Gypsy Trade Fayre.

Whether it’s just sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere or getting down and fully immersing yourself in the strange curiosities on offer, Fling has something for everyone.

As well as performances from a wealth of national cultural treasures the Fling is extremely proud to be one of the only Chelmsford festivals committed to providing a stage for local music and arts talent to gain invaluable festival experience.
