The museum houses an amazing collection of unique and genuine British military artefacts dating from the English Civil War to the present day. The collection includes a Special Forces exhibition, an espionage exhibition for two British Spies, a Home Front exhibition and medal sets, uniforms and stories from the Crimean War to the present day. Workshops / Worksheets and talks can be tailored to suit the groups’ age / keystage / special interest by prior arrangement.

Free preliminary visit for teacher, teacher and pupil resource packs, qualified schools guide/specialist education officer on hand, classroom/study area, welcome talk and demonstrations available, guided tours, indoor eating area available.

Educational visiting time on request. Evening visits and visits during normal closing times available by prior arrangement.

The museum is 0.5 mile from Maldon's high street. It is most easily reached via A13 or A414, then follow Maldon's ring road.
