Grade II*-listed building Thorrington Mill and its pretty waterside setting is popular with walkers and mill enthusiasts. Its machinery is fully restored in working order.It was once powered twice daily by tidal water from the Alresford Creek caught in the Mill Dam, and is one of only a few tide mills remaining in the UK.The mill can be enjoyed as part of several interesting countryside walks. There is a small car park nearby, and it is nearest to Alresford station.
