The Get into ARTS! Festival returns to Brentwood for 2019 has combined with Brentwood Children's Literary Festival!

After celebrating success separately with their own festivals, neighbours Brentwood Theatre and Chicken and Frog Bookshop are now joining forces to bring you The Get into ARTS! Festival 2019. A festival celebrating theatre, music AND literature through two weeks of affordable workshops, classes, performances and film screenings all designed to get you and your family into the arts this summer!

There’s going to be creative writing workshops, a Musical in a Week (featuring a shortened version of the west end hit show Matilda!!), illustration workshops, dance and musical theatre classes, film screenings (including sing-alongs!!), as well as great shows to watch and enjoy.

There will be events every day of the festival and the foyer/café of the theatre and Chicken & Frog Bookshop will be open every day of the festival so you can feel free to pop in and see what’s happening.

From the M25 junction 28 follow A1023 into Brentwood town centre. Brentwood Theatre is situated just past Wilsons Corner, behind the Hermitage.

By Public Transport:
We are equi-distance from both Brentwood and Shenfield stations. Patrons should follow signs for the High Street or else may wish to hail a cab from the station ranks.
