Details

The Ghost of Chesterton House is a new, live theatre experience which will be playing at Stebbing Village Hall, on Saturday 23rd March 2019. We invite audiences into our pop-up Victorian dining room where the immersive ghost story unfolds around them.
The Ghost of Chesterton House tells the story of a man seeking the company of a lodger to help exorcise the ghostly visions that haunt him. However as night creeps in, and in a world of failing light and creaking floorboards, they soon discover strange shadows lurking in the dark. Themes explored within the play include social class, isolation and fear, and coupled with a spine-tingling storyline, this production aims to highlight the importance of ‘technical theatre’ which create many of the effects in this site-specific piece.
Our tour officially began in October 2018 – we have been touring venues in London and Essex – and some of our 5 star reviews include: ‘See it or you will regret it’, ‘Not for the faint hearted’ and ‘A dark and insidious experience’
Each performance of The Ghost of Chesterton House lasts approximately 50 minutes and seats 14 people.
