Warner’s in Colour: A Tool for Design

Warner’s in Colour: A Tool for Design

Warners Mill,
Silks Way,

Warner’s in Colour: A Tool for Design will celebrate colour as a fundamental part of the design process, exploring the collection held at the Warner Textile Archive through the lens of colour.

We will examine the science behind colour production and its application within textile design and how shade, composition and tone can dramatically alter the essence of a design. Through the Archive Collection and items on display we will demonstrate the skill and knowledge required to apply colour effectively, showcasing its power to make a design truly iconic and timeless.

Showing previously unseen designs, swatch books and yarn shade cards, the exhibition is a must see for any design, textile or colour enthusiast!
