The Moot Hall is a Grade One listed building and can not be altered in any way, therefore access for disabled visitors is limited to the ground floor for wheel chair users. Upper floors are reached by narrow, twisting stairways.

Details

Following critically-acclaimed showcases in London, Manchester, Belfast and Liverpool, the Danger Tree will be coming to Essex for the first time. It will be an interactive visual arts experience to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War created by award-winning artists Scarlett Raven and Marc Marot.

The exhibition depicts images of the Great War buried within Scarlett Raven's impressionistic landscape oil paintings. Each painting triggers augmented reality to reveal harrowing narratives of the fallen while reminding us of the impact on loved ones. The exhibition contains fascinating animation, music and wartime peotry narrated by acclaimed actors including Viking McClure and Sean Bean.
