Details

Set within ancient woodland on the border of London and Essex, the Epping Forest course will challenge your stamina as well as your balance.

The 10k route takes in a single lap over uneven woodland trails, steep grassy hills, and large boggy areas.

Once you have completed several tough hill climbs, your next challenge will be to remain upright as you battle through the muddy woodland and around the winding forest paths – this is not a course for setting a personal best!

Here are some of the key statistics of the terrain:

Terrain

45% woodland trails
30% marked paths
25% grass

(?This is just an initial course description as it may change before the event.)
