Lower Burnham Road,

Clayhill Vineyard is conveniently placed on a coastal peninsula, positioned between the rivers Crouch & Blackwater. The site enjoys mild winters and more importantly warm dry summers, ideal conditions for ripening grapes. Planted 11 years ago, the vines have firmly established themselves and have been producing quality grapes for both Still & Sparkling winemakers all over the UK.

Since 2010 we have been producing Still wines for local interest, opening to the public for tastings and tours by prior appointment. ln 2012 we released our first Sparkling white wine 'Messenger' followed by 'Ladybird Blush' in 2015. Keen to increase our products made from grapes grown on our vineyard, in 2016 we released 'Flaskers - Brandy Hole' our first & probably Essex's first English Brandy.

In 2017, with the completion of our Tea Room on site, we are now open to the public on weekends for Light Refreshments, Sales, Tastings & Tours. Running a Tea Room is a new experience for us and we are developing as we go . . . your comments will be well received. Please don't be shy, if there is anything you need just ask and we will try our best to help you.
