Details

On Sunday 1st April, The Aerodrome will host a celebratory day for the public. A parade will take place featuring the honorary ‘handing over ceremony’; the symbolic lowering of the RFC ensign and raising of the RAF ensign by serving officers of the relevant arms. Living History group, 10th Essex, Dawn Patrol and RAF Honigton Band will also be on site.

By Road:
A12 Chelmsford bypass. Take A414 turnoff signposted Danbury. Travel through Danbury to Oak Corner roundabout, travel straight over. Take 1st turning right and travel through Cock Clarks Village. The aerodrome entrance is on the right approx one mile outside the village.
