Stow at War

Stow at War

Hackman's Lane,

This national level living-history event will focus on the British Armed Forces of the Great War and returns in all its glory for a third year. From soldiers to nurses and airmen, their uniforms, weaponry, equipment and training, as well as the everyday tasks of the Great War soldier, there will be authentic demonstrations showing various skills which a soldier would have had to acquire to enable him to do his job “in the field”.

There is an impressive collection of WWI aircraft at the aerodrome as well as Museums, Mess and shop, and is a great educational day for all the family. Some fantastic air displays will be welcomed in, weather permitting.
