Exquisitely carved half-timbered Tudor cloth merchant's house, with a beautiful and tranquil cottage garden. Visitors can follow the house's changing fortune, see how it was saved from demolition and restored to its former glory. You can admire carved timbers, architectural features and discover details about Coggeshall White cloth. There is a coffee shop serving cream teas, coffee, cakes and soft drinks (courtyard garden). Picnics welcome. Ice-cream available. Shop selling gifts, local and gardening products. Plants for sale at our garden stall. Second-hand bookshop.

Adults £7.00, Children £3.50 and National Trust members free. This ticket also gives admission to Grange Barn our sister property in Coggeshall.
