Details

Visit a Day Out With Thomas at the East Anglian Railway Museum during the August Bank Holiday.
Admission will include unlimited steam train rides on at least four character trains. Thomas, Daisy, Toby and Henrietta and the Troublesome Trucks with Toad will all be here.

The Fat Controller will be welcoming you and your family plus you can join him for Storytelling time and interactive re-enactments with Thomas, Rusty and Dusty and other characters throughout the day.
The Imagination Station offers a range of children’s activities including a colouring competition, engine layout rubbing, play tables with Play doh, temporary Thomas tatoos, reading books and there is even a quiet, chill out room to relax in and watch a Thomas DVD.

A real family day out, voted a hit by our visitors as a great time for young and old.

Our trains run all day long with no fixed timetable and you can have as many rides as you like, whenever you like.

Our experience is that Thomas events may sell out in advance so please be aware that we may need to restrict on the day sales subject to pre-booking demand. To guarantee your tickets we recommend you book online (using the green button below) up until the day before the event.

Although the museum is virtually fully accessible, due to us being at a functioning railway station, visitors using wheel chairs will need the assistance of a carer to navigate the separate accessible entrance and security gate on the opposite side of the rail track.
