Details

On Sunday 5th, the popular local children’s entertainer, Steff & Nonsense, will be performing and we’ll have some great live music from local rock’n’roll band, Double Trouble.

On Monday 6th, we’re transforming our enormous Goods Shed into a Go-Karting track and there’s Juggling and Circus Workshops, traditional rides and the fabulous New River Dixielanders playing live.

Lots of space here at the museum so why not bring a picnic to eat on the field or treat yourselves to lunch or a cream tea at the Chappel Station Cafe and spend some quality time with the family. We’re proud to be a doggy-friendly museum so bring along your four-legged friend, on a lead, of course.

The Viaduct Tavern, our very own little pub, will be open serving a range of bottled beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks.

Although the museum is virtually fully accessible, due to us being at a functioning railway station, visitors using wheel chairs will need the assistance of a carer to navigate the separate accessible entrance and security gate on the opposite side of the rail track.
