Details

Steam trains will be running all day long for rides and everyone loves our pump trolley which will be in action as well. Our new train-themed play area is in the middle of two fields so there’s plenty of room to play as well as explore the museum, vintage carriages and signal boxes.Take a peek behind the scenes into our working Restoration Shed where grand old locomotives are being restored AND we’ll be running our ‘Taster for a Tenner’ so Dad (or anyone over 18yrs) can have a go at driving a diesel locomotive for just £10!

We’re delighted to be hosting the annual gathering of the East Anglian Traction Engine Society that weekend so as well as starting their road run from here on Saturday 15th, they will have their traction engines on display here at the museum on Father’s Day.
