12-13 High Street,

We are pleased to invite you to a launch evening for Charlie Hart's gardening memoir, Skymeadow. Charlie will chat to customers about his book & sign copies for anyone who wishes to buy a copy. He will give a short introduction to the book but it will not be a sit down talk. There will be wine & nibbles to enjoy through out the evening.
When Charlie & his family moved to a small farmhouse on the Essex/Suffolk border his life was at an all-time low. He was escaping the pressures of London life & trying to deal with the loss of his parents. Inspired by the beautiful meadowland on the farm, he started to create a five acre garden from scratch. Creating this garden, which became known as Skymeadow, & the physical effort it cost him, helped him to come to terms with his mental anguish. The book is a seamless mix of memoir & the story of the garden, as part of it Charlie planted a rose garden as a tribute to his parents. Skymeadow is a testament to the healing powers of nature & gardening.
The evening will run from from 6.30-8.30pm but you can come in at any point during that time.

Credit cards accepted (no fee)
