The Beecroft Art Gallery is housed in an architecturally unique building on Victoria Avenue in Southend, displaying both local artist’s work alongside semi-permanent displays of fine art from the Beecroft collection. The collection holds over 2000 works ranging from 17th Century Dutch masterpieces to contemporary works, and is complemented by a rolling programme of dynamic exhibitions of fashion and textiles from the extensive fashion and textiles collection.
As well as the changing exhibitions of Art, Photography and Fashion, we also have a varied programme of events, learning sessions and film screenings in our lecture theatre, so keep an eye on our website for details www.southendmuseums.co.uk
