Home-made teas. Renowned for the quality and variety of our home-made cakes. Visits also by arrangement April to Sept groups 15+ (not Aug) refreshments available.
A Victorian country house surrounded by a garden designed, created and maintained by the owners to provide maximum all year round interest. The colour coordinated borders and beds are enhanced with topiary, grasses, climbers and many unusual plants. Spring includes tulips and summer bursts into colour with roses and perennials continuing into autumn with vibrant showy dahlias and many other exotics. Opposite Danbury Common (NT), short walk to Danbury Country Park and Lakes and short drive to RHS Hyde Hall.
Featured in Landscape Magazine, Rustica (France), Essex Life, and East Anglia Daily Times. There is very limited wheelchair access, with some steps, gravel paths and drive.
