Walks and rides around Harlow

The first written record of Harlow was in the Domesday book of 1086. Today's Harlow pioneered the practice of sculpture out in the living environment and is now home to an extensive collection of over 60 sculptures and statues. The town has 13 scheduled ancient monuments including the nationally important Roman Temple Site, where a number of important archaeological discoveries have been made. There are also 8 designated conservation areas (including Mark Hall North) and than one third of Harlow is made up of parks, woodland, ponds and open spaces. Harlow has over 250 acres of nature reserves and parks perfectly suited for walks and rides.
