Essex Attractions
Essex is packed with attractions. Whether you prefer historic buildings, like Audley End House, or glorious gardens, castles or forts, museums or antique centres, play centres or steam railway you will surely find it in our county. Essex is said to be like little England; whatever you associate England with, you will find it is Essex only on a smaller scale! I can't think of a better desciption of the county.
Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service (VAQAS)
When looking for places to visit, you need an accreditation system you can trust. VisitBritain's ‘Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service' offers you reassurance about the quality of the visitor's experience. Only those attractions which have been assessed by VisitBritain receive the quality marque, your sign of a ‘Quality Assured Visitor Attraction'.
Set in over 300 acres of countrypark and on the edge of the River Crouch, Marsh Farm provides an enjoyable and educational day out for the whole family. It is a farm where children can get close to and learn about the farm animals and play safely in the adventure play areas. Beside from meeting animals, children can go on tractor rides and let off steam on the bouncy cushions and in the sand pits, giving the adults the chance to relax for a while.
There is so much to do you could stay all day.
