Day fishing tickets cost £5.30 for Adults & £3.50 for children/concessions.
Fishing is not permitted in the shelters during the summer.
Reduced capacity is available for fishing at the Pier Head-please check details with Pier staff.
Southend Pier first opened in 1889 and since the completion of the Prince George Extension in 1929 it has retained the accolade of being the World’s Longest Pleasure Pier. Stretching 1.34 miles out to sea there is plenty of scope for those wishing to fish at sea without leaving dry land.
With a choice of location from where to fish on Southend Pier – it’s a great place for anglers who could land mackerel, plaice or flounder.
