Good home cooked food in warm and friendly surroundings. We are an old 16th century Inn surrounded by old beams and open log fires giving a warm and cosy atmosphere for you to enjoy your meal. We serve good old English pub food, fish & chips, ham, egg & chips and especially our renowned homemade steak & ale pie. Open all day 7 days a week. Booking adviseable.

By Road:
Leave Colchester on the A12 heading NE towards Ipswich. Take the 3rd signposted route to Dedham on the left at Stratford St Mary (after you have crossed into Suffolk) onto the B1029. Follow the signs to Dedham and 200yds after crossing the River Stour you will find us on your left. (15mins).
