The Lock Tearoom

"the lock" tea room at Heybridge Basin is bright and airy with a large and inviting sun terrace which offers the finest views over the Blackwater Estuary. 'the lock' takes full advantage of fresh and local produce and serves delicious salads, sandwiches, hot lunches and handmade cakes. There's soft ice cream too - for kids of all ages! The specialities at 'the lock' include traditional English breakfast (served until 11am) and afternoon teas.
