The Lodge is located at Oxneys Farm in the peaceful hamlet of Bannister Green which is part of the village of Felsted, on the family owned arable farm, the cottage provides a secluded and tranquil retreat set back from the village green down a private drive, a mile and a half from the centre of the village of Felsted with its famous school founded in 1564. Felsted has several restaurants, public Houses and shops and is conveniently situated for access to Suffolk, Cambridgeshire or London either by car or train from Chelmsford and is 12 miles from Stansted Airport.

By Road:
From M11 & Stansted airport take A120 to Gt Dunmow, leave at exit for Gt Dunmow South signed B1256 Rayne, Felsted & Stebbing. Follow B1256 after approx 2 miles; turn right to Felsted & Little Dunmow. Go straight through the village of Felsted. At Watch House Green follow signs for Bannister Green after approx 0.5 mile turn right, then turn right again across the green just before the Three Horse Shoes & follow the drive to your cottage.
From A120 take the B1417 signed Felsted. At Watch House Green as above.
