About

Mersea Island is a special place with beaches, creeks, boardwalks, sailing, oysters and a great community. Located at the heart of West Mersea village opposite the church, the pub is somewhere for a casual pint, an easy lunch or special celebratory dinner. And if you can’t bear to leave, there are six guest rooms to stay overnight.

The six sumptuous guest rooms have views of the sea or village green and sweeping sun rises or sunsets. All have super king beds with luxury 4000 pocket sprung mattresses and Egyptian cotton. Individually designed with bespoke fabrics and furniture, quirky finds and local artwork. Bathrooms have large, walk in showers with Bramley Bath Products and bathrobes to sink into.
