From pregnancy onwards, knowing about your baby's brain will enable you to interact with him/her in a more conscious, effective and pleasurable way, making the adventure of becoming a family one rich in joy and fulfilment.

BabyBrains workshops are designed by Dr Silvia Dalvit Ménabé, a PhD Neuroscientist Mum-of-Three, and endorsed by Prof Mark Johnson, the Head of Psychology Department at Cambridge University.
This series of workshops in Colchester are deliver by Sonia and Mariana, both qualified psychologist, mums and BabyBrains trainers.

Workshop Programme:
1) How to establish good family habits (based on the neuroscience of Memory)
2) How to deal with the feeling of manipulation (based on the Theory of Mind)
3) How to understand separation anxiety (based on Object Permanece)
4) How to encourage language development (based on Lingustics)
5) How to discipline your children (Based on the Neuroscience of Motivation)
6) How to encourage healthy independence: (Based on Attachment Science)

Workshops are fun and interactive: learning naturally happens through experimentally-inspired games, exciting Aha! moments and engaging group exercises. At the end of the course, parents feel not only well informed, but also energised and inspired, ready to take on the most wonderful challenge of their lives: parenting their unique child.

This is also an opportunity for you to participate in science: Babybrains has partnered up with the University of Essex in a project called It All Starts in the Womb.
