This September, we've teamed up with Downham Hall to give one lucky reader the chance to win a three-course meal for two at their 2 AA Rosette North Wing Restaurant.

Housed within a stunning Georgian manor house in Billericay, North Wing Restaurant is an elegant and cosy space with views over the surrounding countryside, serving beautifully presented seasonal menus made with the freshest ingredients from local farms and producers. Make a day of your visit with an autumnal walk through the grounds or nearby countryside, taking in panoramic views of rolling hills. Terms and Conditions

Must be 18 or over to enter. Competition closes on Wednesday 16th September 2026, 5pm BST.  Winner will be chosen at random and contacted via email by Thursday 17th September 2026 and must respond within 5 working days to claim their prize. If we do not receive a response within this timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be chosen at random. 

1. Prize is a three-course meal for two people at Downham Hall's North Wing Restaurant (2 AA Rosette). 
2. Some dishes may incur a supplement charge.
3. Drinks are not included.
4. Valid for reservations Wednesday–Saturday, 6pm–9pm, subject to availability.
5. Booking must be made in advance and is subject to the restaurant's normal booking terms.
6. Prize must be redeemed by 31st March 2027, excluding the month of December. Bookings cannot be made for any date in December. After the expiry date, the prize will be void and no alternative or cash equivalent will be offered.
7. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize.
8. Downham Hall reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equivalent value if necessary.
