NHS Yarns: Love, Hope and Loss on the front lines

About

Belle’s husband demands that she strip on their doorstep, Sara’s iPhone has become a facilitator of final goodbyes, and Azrael—ethereal chaperone to the afterlife—arrives breathless and late to every appointment.

The critically acclaimed Témoin ensemble bring their signature visual style to a collage of new plays from some of the UK’s most exciting new playwrights, weaving a beautiful and eye-opening evening of theatre.

NHS Yarns has been created by a diverse team of professional playwrights and key workers, who have collaborated to imagine new ways of sharing the most vivid and important stories from the front lines of the pandemic. The project is supported by Arts Council England and has been created in collaboration with the North East London Foundation Trust and The Mercury Theatre.
