The Big Weekend will be taking place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th October 2023. Essex residents will be given a chance to enjoy amazing experiences across the county, such as attractions, accommodation, and eateries, for free by entering our ballot. We have a huge range of Essex businesses taking part in the event – there really is something for everyone, so don’t miss out on your chance to receive free tickets and enjoy a wonderful day out or staycation in Essex this October. 

The Big Weekend features attractions, experiences and days out suitable for people of all ages – win yourself a family day of fun at the exciting Adventure Island theme park in Southend-on-Sea, or burn off some energy at Jump Street Essex! If you fancy a free bite to eat, there’s the chance to win free meals at local pubs such as The Three Horseshoes, or an afternoon at Tiptree Tearooms. Perhaps you’re hoping for a bit of zen, in which case a visit to Down Hall Hotel and Spa would be right up your street.
