Lakeside Dino Event

About

There is one event you MUST visit this summer, and that's Lakeside Shopping Centre's Dinosaur takeover extravaganza.

Opening on Saturday 17 July, it is set to be the most roar-some event of the year as shoppers take a step back in time to come face-to-face with life-sized creatures.

From a seven-metre-long Triceratops to a four metre-tall Carnotaurus, a deadly raptor cage and ride-on T-Rex, the pre-historic animals are taking over Lakeside to bring the thrills and excitement of the Jurassic period to the centre this summer.

The highlight is the traffic-stopping, 18 metres long, five metres tall, moving and roaring T-Rex, towering above the crowds on the Quay. Creating the perfect photo opportunity, the legendary beast opens its colossal jaw and roars to help capture the perfect pre-historic selfie smile.

The event of the summer, which is completely free for all, will invite shoppers to follow the trail and spot the many life-like monsters. Pick up a map from the central Atrium for free, think like an adventurer and follow the trail. Text the Dinosaurs a question, learn some dino-facts and create the perfect family-fun photo.

With moving parts and interactive rides, plus a merchandise shop, Lakeside's dinosaur takeover is the place to be from 17 July until 31 August.
