About

We are set to welcome a beautiful Spring Garden to the centre's Central Atrium this Easter from Monday 3 April – Friday 16 April.

Featuring lush grass surrounded by a traditional picket fence, the Spring space will be dressed with blossom trees, comfort seating, plus the showstopper - a Giant Grass Gorilla Selfie Seat!

There's even more to get excited about as we are hosting a Zoo Explorer Hunt with some wildly fantastic prizes in collaboration with Colchester Zoo. Visitors to the centre can participate by using a map to find animals and letters that make up a mystery phrase. Visitors will also be able to watch informative videos on the centre's large screens about the animals at Colchester Zoo. Make this an unforgettable Easter experience at Lakeside.

To enter the competition, simply place your entry in the Spring post box.

You have to be in it to win it and have a chance at winning one of the prizes below:

1 x Guardian Animal Adoption – https://www.colchester-zoo.com/gifts-and-experiences/adoptions/guardian-adoption/
1 x Kids Zoo Academy – https://www.colchester-zoo.com/gifts-and-experiences/animal-experiences/kids-zoo-academy/
1 x Keeper Shadowing Experience for 1 – https://www.colchester-zoo.com/gifts-and-experiences/animal-experiences/keeper-shadowing/
1 x Family ticket consisting of 2 adult and 2 child admission tickets to visit the zoo once within 6 months.
