Thanks for joining the coolest camping club in the UK. Nature and fun all in one! Set in 12 acres of meadows, hedgerows and trees, just outside London. We are on the c2c line between Fenchurch Street and Southend, a short walk from the East Tilbury train station to your pitch.

Thamesview is an eco campsite ideal for walkers, explorers, families and lovers of the river Thames. Were adjacent to the iconic Coal House Fort and Essex Wildlife Trusts Thameside Nature Discovery Park. Come and relax in this beautiful, fun and friendly environment. We are surrounded by meadow in a riverside setting. Our campsites are shaded and grassy with spacious long level pull-thrus and nice private back in sites up against the river Thames. All of our tent sites are grassy, with picnic benches and firepits. BBQ grills available on request. We have fifteen pitches with composting loos and hot showers. The pitches will change throughout the season as we add and grow, attracting wildlife and serenity. Spending your extended stay at Thamesview Camping means youre in good company. Get to know the friendly faces behind the shirts, and take advantage of the relaxing surroundings waiting for you. Welcoming members of the Greener Camping Club, this is an environmentally friendly site set in a calm and peaceful location, with minimal noise to make the most of the outdoors. Members are automatically enrolled in the club's 'Trees for Life' scheme, planting a single tree with each new membership. Pitches cater to tents, motor homes, camper vans and are spread out across 12 acres, with views towards the River Thames. A set of luxury bell tents is suited to glampers and includes their own picnic table and fire pit. Campfires are encouraged and locally sourced firewood can be found onsite, with practically zero carbon impact. Dogs are welcome though being a working cattle farm, they must be kept on a lead whilst onsite. Nearby Attractions include, Coalhouse Fort ,Tilbury Fort, Thameside Nature discovery Park, Essex to Kent Ferry, St Cleres Golf, River Thames and much much more...

We also have bikes for hire including a tandem as well as fishing rods for those who would like to try their luck on the River Thames.

Guide Prices

Maximum 6 occupants per pitch. No pets or smoking in hire tents.
Tent and motor home pitches £15 per night plus £5 per adult and £3 per child, infants go free.
Hire tents £35 per night plus pitch rate and occupancy.
A £50 security deposit is payable on arrival for hire tents to help guest look after the equipment.

All pitches come with picnic bench and fire pit, bbq grills available on request.
