About

Gosfield Hall in Essex, once a Royal Palace, offers you the wedding day you've always dreamed of. We are an exclusive-use wedding venue, hosting only one wedding per day, ensuring that you are surrounded by only your loved ones on your special day.

A picturesque location, our grounds are embossed with manicured lawns, setting the scene for your elegant wedding. We have several ceremony locations within the venue, from Queen Charlotte’s oak-panelled gallery with its 120-foot aisle to the more intimate setting of the Grand Salon. For those who are looking for an outdoor ceremony, opt for the carriageway which allows guests to enjoy the historic surroundings while you say 'I do'.

The Marquis of Buckingham’s former ballroom provides an exquisite setting for the wedding breakfast. There are also several grand and ornate reception rooms for you and your guests to use throughout the day as well. Our team of in-house chefs will create you a bespoke menu from canapés to the wedding breakfast.

There are 23 luxurious bedroom suites available exclusively for your and your guests to retire to at the end of the night, offering the perfect end to your day at Gosfield Hall. The Rococo Honeymoon Suite is certainly a bedroom fit for royalty. Should you wish to stay the night before your wedding, The Marquis and The Lady’s Chambers Cottage are both available to your wedding party, allowing you and 26 of your party to awake revived and refreshed ready for the big day.
