Road Directions
By Road:From A12 London. Take exit marked for central Colchester A133 from A12. At next roundabout take 2nd left onto Avenue of Remembrance. Straight over next 4 roundabouts keeping on A133 & following signs to University. At the 5th roundabout take 2nd left to Clacton (signposted University & Beth Chattos garden) follow road for 1000m (2/3 mile) & turn right at top of hill following signs for B1027/1028 for Wivenhoe. Go over traffic lights, up to next set of traffic lights, go straight over, take 1st turning on right into the University campus & into Boundary Rd. Take 1st right into Park Rd, follow rd down & we are at end of road.From A12 Ipswich: Take 1st turning off for Colchester. When you approach roundabout take 2nd exit towards Colchester (Lind garage on left) go straight over set of traffic lights, straight over Rovers Tye roundabout (pub on right). Carry straight down that rd, at next roundabout take 1st left exit (Glynn Webb on left), next roundabout go straight over. At next roundabout take 2nd left to Clacton (signposted University & Beth Chattos garden) and as above.From Colchester Town Centre: Going down Colchester High Street, take left-hand lane at traffic lights near Colchester Castle. Go straight on & at bottom of hill go straight over traffic lights up to a roundabout, straight over & on to a mini roundabout. Take 2nd exit & over level crossing. Continue to double roundabout & take 3rd exit towards Clacton. At next roundabout go clockwise & take 2nd left to Clacton (signposted University and Beth Chattos garden) and as above.Accessible by Public Transport: Colchester North station is 2 miles away.
