About

Great Braxted is a village between Great Totham, Little Braxted and Tiptree. Local attractions include, Braxted Park, which features All Saints Chruch within its 2,000 acre grounds while the village features a community village hall and cricket ground. The village previously had the Ducan eArms public house - named after the Ducane family who used to live at Braxted Park - and a post office. However, both have now been converted into houses.

St. Nicolas and St. Mary's Chapel in Little Braxted is one of the smallest churches in Essex and was built in the early 12th century. The Green Man public house is a focal point in the neighbouring village of Little Braxted and has a five-mile circular walk which takes in the popular Shut Heath Wood Nature Reserve.
