Free workshops on the first Wednesday of every month. Everybody welcome! Materials, coffee, biscuits, and great creative conversations provided.
In this workshop with artist Jane Stewart, you can learn an assortment of different folding and cutting techniques to make a simple but effective book. You can make a zine, a back-to-front booklet, spiral folded mini book, concertina book, a flag book and a 'meandering lotus' book with a cover. These books can all be used for various different things like gifts for friends, celebrating special days, a little magazine, or a way to store sketches and artwork.
If you have artwork of your own that you would like to add, or a particular paper that you want to use (like wedding or birthday paper) then please bring these along with you. All other materials will be provided.
