About

For this special evolving exhibition, we will be reshowing the Friends of Jaywick Martello Tower's Tides of Tendring exhibition, which looks at the history of flooding in the area, and be adding new elements each month. The exhibition will be changing like the sea as we then explore the events of the 1953 North Sea floods in the UK and Europe to commemorate seventy years since the catastrophic event. Finally, the exhibition will then take a look at the future of flooding and local flood defences.

Jaywick Martello Tower is open weekends from 10am-4pm.
